Join our Team

Serenic Software has a current need for 2 Product Specialist, with one position located in our Edmonton, Alberta office and another in our King City, Ontario office.  Have you got a flair for both accounting and information technology? Use these combined skills to assist with the support of Serenic’s Integrated Solutions.  You will help our customers take full advantage of our Integrated Solution.

This position reports to the Director of Client Services.  As a member of the Client Services Team you will provide implementation, training and support services to our customers.  This position may require travel to customer sites.

This unique role is responsible for the following:

  • Prepare and organize project documentation, assist in the definition of deliverables, estimates and schedules, and develop test plans to validate technology solutions
  • Identify customer business system requirements and opportunities for system improvements, while assisting in the development, implementation, and testing of technology enhancements
  • Ensure business processes are aligned with the software and that the software has the optimal configuration
  • Provide quality assurance for the implementation of new releases and modules
  • Engage end users by conducting training sessions
  • Configure and participate in product demonstrations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at Bellamy’s Annual User Group.

 General qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including preparing budgets, variance reporting, cost accounting, preferably in a municipal setting
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, requirements, and practices
  • Experience in working in a municipal operational environment would be of benefit
  • Ability to think logically and complete work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solve independently within the scope of the position
  • Strong Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and database skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with end users on training, workshops, and presentations is an asset
  • Valid Driver’s license

Compensation will be dependent on qualifications. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.

Serenic Software has a current need for 2 Software Engineers, both located in our King City, Ontario office

The Programmers will be responsible for maintenance, support and development of existing software solutions.  Must have excellent problem solving skills.

General qualifications:

  • Experience in development toolsets, such as C#, ASP.NET, VBA, MS Access, Xamarin Mono, Java
  • RDBMS experience in MSSQL, DB2
  • Experience with Client and Server and/or Web Applications
  • Experience with Android, iOS
  • Ability to multi-task, self- motivated, and organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical
  • Interpersonal skills, excellent team player, professional

Serenic Software has a current need for a Business Development Account Executive, located in our King City, Ontario office.  As a member of the Business Development Team you will be the customer-facing resource for Serenic Software, promoting our comprehensive integrated solutions to public sector prospects and closing new business.  This position will require travel to customer and prospect sites.


  • Build an effective sales/followup strategy to ensure a healthy pipeline of prospects and close new business.
  • Foster strong relationships with prospects and existing customers.
  • Manage complex sales identifying value to stakeholders throughout the customer organization, understand customer buying cycles and effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with marketing on campaigns and communications
  • Engage in sales meetings to share key insights and set targets, and report on activities.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the product itself.
  • Engage with internal staff to develop solutions, proposals and presentations to prospective new customers.


  • 3-5 years of experience selling software or software-as-a-service products to senior business executives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Sales, Business Administration or related field.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial drive and a “hunter” mentality.
  • Proven ability to perform sales presentations.
  • Accountability and exceptional customer service skills will be looked highly upon.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are desired.
  • Excels in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency utilizing CRM software as well as Microsoft Office.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
